I decided to start a collection of my worn out pair of jeans showing the traces of mobile tech development in society.

In “The Medium is the Massage“, McLuhan also rehashed the argument that media are “extensions” of our human senses, bodies and minds.

The traffic-light buttons in Singapore are great. ( Same in Australia?) A real nice big metal button you have to press to call for a green light. I hate the german move-your-hand-somewhere-here ‘buttons’. You are never sure if you made it …

I did like the Metro ticket vending machines in Hong Kong a lot. Just point at the desired destination on the static interactive touch-board and the machine would charge you the right price. Very simple and clear. And a very helpfull kind of low tech . ;-)
