Bullet Time
It’s quite an experience to fall. The very short moment seams to take ages. The mind has any time of the world to anticipate all the consequences and possible reasons of the crash. A very condensed moment. In computer games this feature is called “bullet time“, a slow motion time fragment which enables the user to act much faster than his opponents.
This was my bike.

You weren’t injured, I hope? I remember thinking I would get into a bike crash when I moved to Berlin. 3 years later I pulled a stupid stunt on Friedrichstrasse and got hit by a car. The driver braked but I still flew through the air, catching myself on my hands with my face some centimeters away from the asphalt. The crash cost me €1600 since I didn’t have Haftpflichtversicherung. Stupid all around.

I was lucky, just some scratches. no traffic, not going fast, but still it did heard, yes! last time i had this in the netherlands and lost my front teeth…
